Stuart Saunders
Founder and Managing Partner
Stuart founded Mobile Defense, Inc. in 2007 and served as CEO until the company was acquired by Assurant (NYSE: AIZ) in 2016. While at Assurant, he served as VP of Software Engineering and led seven cross-functional product development teams to deliver scalable innovation to over 30 million monthly active users. Prior to Mobile Defense, Stuart worked in the IT Leadership Program at Fifth Third Bank (Nasdaq: FITB), and in his early career, he played various roles for multiple startups. Through Glider Capital, Stuart combines his diverse skills in engineering, product, and leadership, with his love for coaching and mentoring young startups.
